Jason Rhodes was our guest this week. Come watch/listen to this US Navy Veteran share his story. Jason didn't have the normal path to joining the military, but it is a great story. We learned about his time in the Gulf outside of Iraq, and also that he worked to different Destroyers. Both of which he also helped de commission. His transition in to civilian life was not necessarily easy, but he found his place and worked through it. this is what led hime to start his non-profit RenoVet. Where he helps disabled veterans renovate their homes to fit their needs. In order to help raise funds for RenoVet, Jason decided to walk from Sanford, North Carolina to Austin, Texas. Along the way he documented his travels through his social media. This walk was almost 1400 miles and he just did with himself and a Ruck sack.
