Sometimes doing a Live Show can be a blessing, and sometimes it can hurt. We try to make sure it is always a blessing. So when we have a guest no show us, we adapt and overcome. This week you got us. It has been a rocky week leading up to this show, so this is what we most likely needed.We started out with some big losses of some true heroes at the beginning of the week. First Alan Taylor a WWII Navy Veteran who we had the pleasure of meeting with Duke Cooper of American Veterans First. Alan told some great stories of his times during WWII. He passed away at 98 years old.

Next, we moved on to Mike's Uncle Lee who joined us just a few short weeks ago. He shared his stories of being a Navy Veteran during Vietnam. One great story about nobody warning him of the grenades they threw off the side of the ship to keep away the enemy. While they were in port in Vietnam. His energy was great and we were hoping to try and get him on the show one more time. Unfortunately, he lost his battle with cancer.

He was a Marine Corp Veteran who also served two tours in Vietnam.It had been a strange week for both Mike and Eric, so we talked about Stress and what that does to our Mental Health. We did read through our guest last week Jenna Carlton book, "The Veteran Workbook". and worked through the Theme around stress. Discussing real issues we are both currently dealing with.Not the show we planned, but it was the show we needed.
