Imago theory is an unconscious, idealized concept of familiar love that an individual develops during childhood which remains unchanged in adulthood. It is amazing how unconsciously we sometimes record inaccurate accounts from childhood and they remain with us as adults and impacts all other relationships including our spiritual relationships. If we closely examine what attracted us to Jesus' ministry it may reveal something about how we feel about relationships. Were you drawn to Jesus because of the miracles or the wounds. Regardless of why you were drawn to him be sure you are prepare to forgive those who may have wounded you in order to be able to fully see Christ.
