"What we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears.” It is this knowing that builds our confidence about what we don’t know. 1st John 3:2 helps us to grapple with and lets us know that it is ok that we are unsure. We have reason to be unsure since we are joining a new family and are taking off an old role we've been playing for quite some time. We are walking in a new role. No longer walking in the flesh but being led by the Spirit of Christ. Imago is us living the transformed, fully formed idealized image of Christ through the Spirit not the flesh. While you may be unsure of what you will be, you should be sure of these things: you are a child of God if you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior, you live according to the Spirit not the Flesh you will do greater works according to the Spirit.
