Is it possible to end poverty by the end of 2030?
In this episode, I have the pleasure to speak with Tommy Bradford, an English Teacher from the UK, currently living in Germany. Together, we explore the article "Still a Big Step Toward “No Poverty" written by Thuận Sarzynski.
Based on this article, we discuss the major challenges that need to be addressed to further reduce poverty and hunger by 2030. In addition, we talk about the importance of education, particularly ESL (English as a Second Language) teaching, which can play a role in supporting the SDGs and promoting poverty reduction in different countries. Finally, Tommy gives us his perspective on how he has seen international cooperation impact these challenges positively.
