Arif Mirbaghi is a Canadian-born musician and composer based in Tehran, Iran. He began his musical journey as the bassist of progressive metal band Protest The Hero but has since branched out into a variety of projects, blending Western and Eastern musical flavours. He runs Qame Feraq, a record label that showcases contemporary Iranian musicians and has released several albums, such as Centuries Of Roses, The Origin Of The Wind, Love Songs Of The Fertile Plains, and his latest release, Mutual Occultation.
