Description

When we treat what happened to Britney Spears as a singular experience we erase women of color and other marginalized groups who have had the same experience.

In this episode, we talk about how the #FreeBritney movement (when it first began) failed intersectional feminism, and how we need to use this movement as a way to amplify the voices of those who don't have Britney's platform.

Note: We are Britney fans! and this is not a critique of her or her experiences.
