Renewing your mind means embracing who you are in Christ and what you have in Christ as a way of life that affects the way you think, the way you speak, and the things you do through the word of God and the guidance of the Holy Spirit
Metamorphosis is the Greek word for Transformation in Romans 12:2 which means a change in form or nature like the lifecycle of a Butterfly is suggestive that Renewing our mind is a continuous process, not an instant experience.
So the goal is to get to the point where we have attained the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ according to Ephesians 4:12-13
