One of the litmus-test that your mind is being renewed and you are transformed is that you can discern what is the sovereign will of God as well as the revealed will of God.
The word TRANSFORMATION is used one time in all the gospels, namely, about Jesus on the mountain of transfiguration (i.e the mountain of “transformation” — same word, metemorphōthē): “And he was transfigured before them, and his face shone like the sun, and his clothes became white as light” (Matthew 17:2; Mark 9:2).
This gives us a clue to how a believer can be transformed using 2 Cor 3:18 as a reference "As we behold in a glass the glory of God we are changed i.e transformed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of God"
