The proof that you are transformed in Christ is that you love to do what you ought to do. That’s freedom in Christ.
“For freedom, Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery” (Galatians 5:1).
If you want to stop an addiction you must be able to replace the time you use to engage in that addiction with something else. However, it is the triumphant power and transformation of the Holy Spirit through faith in Jesus Christ — our Savior, our Lord, our Treasure that makes it possible.
