Prayer is more than just receiving from God alone. It also includes intimacy, intercession, and warfare as well.
As believers in Christ, we need to move from the realm of asking what we want to ask for what God would have us do which is centered around seeking first the kingdom of God
What prayer does for you is that you are transformed into the image of the one you seek to reflect his glory. 2Cor 3:19, Luke 9:29
