Born to immigrant parents who had high expectations, June was a people pleaser, tirelessly working to succeed as a costume designer. But after the death of a few family members – in which she had to miss one funeral for work – the stress really took a toll on her and she had to take a step back and ask herself, ‘is this even my dream anymore?’.
