Description

In this episode of The Leader Within, Salima Stanley-Bhanji, a lawyer, filmmaker, entrepreneur  and co-founder of Humainologie
shares her journey and how she leverages her strengths in asking insightful questions and practicing self-awareness to help amplify the voices of those who are facing systemic barriers.

She has spent almost 15 years in leadership roles within the not-for-profit sector, including serving as the Executive Director of Vibrant Calgary. In 2015, Salima co-founded Humainologie, a Canadian not-for-profit that aims to centre people facing systemic barriers by amplifying their stories through films and celebrating their humanity. Through her work at Humainologie, Salima has produced and directed numerous short films, many of which has received over 20
international awards and film festival selections. With Salima’s passion for diverse and authentic representation and her dynamic background in law, entrepreneurship, making award winning films, serving on a board and her leadership experience, I am excited to have her share her insights with you!
