On today’s show, John Traver the founder and CEO of Traver Companies who has operated his own companies now for over 35 years. He built his first company, Traver Technologies, in Houston, TX in 1991 where he created CRM software and training under his BDC system for the automobile industry. In 1993, Toyota hired him to speak on his unique business development practices to all its North American dealerships for three successive years. That company grew quickly and in 2000, Fortune 300 ADP purchased that company from Mr. Traver for its own automotive vertical that is today traded as CDK Global. Since then, he has both founded and purchased additional companies in various industries. Today Mr. Traver owns businesses in automotive, commercial real estate and agriculture.
