I had the privilege of traveling with some friends to Bolivia to bird hunt. We stayed at Bolivian Adventures lodge, their we me the owner Jorge Molina. We fell in love with him, the hunting, the lodge, his wife Karin, his children and his staff. Nothing was subpar , all was exceptional. From the moment we landed to the moment we left, from every hunt, every snack and every 5 star food experience, we fell in love with this place. There is a real sense of customer service, of serving and ensuring that all guest feel loved, attended to and happy. So, I couldn’t let the moment pass and I asked Jorge if I could interview him for our show. This would be the second show I do in Spanish, a must to watch, hear or read subtitles – but a must. In that I learned about his youth in Columbia, his challenges, his qualifying for the Olympics twice for Columbia in sharpshooting. From working for his Fathers lodge in Columbia, to making the Olympics, to running his Father’s business to moving it to Bolivia due to the circumstances in Columbia, starting over and making this new land, new lodge and new business the success it is. With his kind, but stern nature, with his vision and direction, I have never experienced a lodge such as this. He was a man full of sayings, great sayings, like, “when the youth gets used to doing bad, the county losses their future.” Also, “when laws are broken or cut and society does not react, but gets accustomed – society has lost.” This is a must watch show. An Olympian, a business man, a family man and an inspiration; Enrique “Jorge” Molina.
