The party launched into battle with the Gray Slaad in the tunnel, quickly realizing that many more increasingly powerful Slaad laid in wait within. Cyrus found himself on death’s door as the black Slaad seemed to recognize them as it perished into a caustic black cloud. Their combat disturbed a hidden entrance to another small cave that held a failed conqueror’s still living head and chest whose secrets Cylph’e delved into with her magic.
