Description

So this morning in my Wednesday ritual of making fried rice for school lunches, my 6 year old Jasper walked into the kitchen and said “WAIT IS THERE RICE IN FRIED RICE?!?”

Bewildered and confused, he actually couldn’t believe it.

And here I was thinking the name “fried rice” effortlessly gave all its simple secrets away.

But it got me thinking how often we as business owners don’t stop and see the simplicity of running a business.

Essentially all we are doing, as sparky business owners, is buying and selling materials and selling it at a profit.

The essence of business is very simple.  Sounds easy hey?

No doubt your “vision statement” looks something like this…

“Do excellent work, with excellent staff, for excellent clients, using excellent materials, making excellent money, while being generous”.

If it’s not exactly that, then the above statement is probably pretty agreeable to you.

So what exactly am I trying to say here? What is the point I am trying to communicate?

In the busy. In the crazy In the fast pace. It’s time for you to stop and make sure you are making money, building wealth, being yourself, being kind, and having fun.

Make business simple again.
