I have always approached goal setting in a similar way. The goal setting plan would look something like this:

1. Set a big audacious goal without any context or structure

2. Write it down somewhere that I won't be able to see regularly

3. Don't put in place actionable steps to help progress toward the goal 

4. Review at the end of month in disappointment without any review or understanding of where I fell short

Well this year I thought it was time for a change and in this episode of The Sav Show I talk about how I plan to attack things this year.
