Description

Hey there GolfCask Nation, Brian Bailie here with a new tasting of American Brick bourbon, a unique four-grain bourbon from New York with an industrial bottle design reminiscent of a brick. With a 92 proof (46% ABV), it has wide, slow-moving legs, indicating its oily nature. On the nose, it presents sweet and oaky notes, followed by a complex palate of sweetness, sugar, cinnamon, and a second layer of tasting coming in desert sweet with malt and wheat, with a medium to medium-long finish that offers a warm, slightly dry mouthfeel. Despite not being a fan of four-grain or wheated whiskies, I enjoyed this one, rating it a 3.5 out of 5—akin to a solid par with birdie potential. Cheers, drink responsibly, and see you on the golf course!
