Imagine you’re at your house one day, the doorbell rings and somebody comes up to your door and says, “I’d like to run your life. I’d like to run your family, I’d like to run your business, I’d like to run your nights, I’d like to stay in your bedroom with you when you sleep, I’d like to do everything for you, I’d like to be involved in all of your life.” What would you say? Most of us would say, hey, get lost! And yet, that’s what money asks for. And Jesus when he starts out talking about money, he talks about money a lot, he said that it would ask to run your life, and you gotta make a decision… whatcha gonna serve? Whether you are going to serve God, or whether you are going to serve your money?
