So, here’s the truth about transparency: If you won’t be transparent—authentic with others—you make friendship almost impossible. If you won’t be transparent and authentic with your spouse, your marriage won’t last. If you won’t be transparent and authentic with your children, you’ll lose your credibility. If you won’t be transparent and authentic with yourself, you’ll wreck your life.
