This message is a part of our series, "Fear and Peace: God is where He is supposed to be when life isn't".

If you’ve been a person of faith for any length of time, you have without doubt gone through the cycle of thinking, "There’s God!”, where you sense His Presence, you feel assured that He’s with you, working in your circumstances, your Forgiver, source of strength and hope. And then one day, you’re in a dry spot, you’re facing an expected challenge, you have a series of things that go really wrong.  And then on one terrible, horrible, no-good, very bad day, you think, "Where’s God" You talk to him, and your prayers bounce off the ceiling, or make nests in the rafters. You lose any sense that God is there. You are not alone, this is what all of humanity experiences. Throughout the Bible we see this happen again and again. Let’s take a look and see what we can learn about how to respond to those times when we’re asking, “Where’s God?"
