Description

Milwaukee friends, get ready to light up your fall! ✨ On this episode of One of a Kind Milwaukee, we’re diving into one of the most magical traditions in our city—China Lights Wisconsin 2025: Magical Forest, happening at Boerner Botanical Gardens.
From September 12 through November 2, the gardens will be glowing with over 40 brand-new handcrafted lanterns, including the whimsical Magical Forest and an adventurous set of Prehistoric Sea Creatures. It’s a one-of-a-kind experience that blends art, culture, food, and performance into a nighttime adventure you won’t forget.
🌟 Why We’re Excited
• Lantern displays that feel larger than life (and perfect for Insta-worthy moments ✨).
• Nightly shows featuring acrobats and Asian folk art at 6:30, 7:30 & 9:00 PM.
• Two food courts stocked with tasty bites, warm drinks, and local favorites.
• Themed weekends, from Culture Weekend to Halloween Weekend, bringing something fresh each time you go.
