Sermon Series: Radicle Methodism
Sermon: The Rooted Connection
Scripture: 4:10-20
In the second week of the Radicle Methodism series, Pastor Zach Bechtold continues to explore the deep, transformative roots of the Methodist movement. From Charles and John Wesley’s Holy Club at Oxford to the growth of Methodism in the American colonies, we look back at the radical love and community-building that shaped our faith. But with that rich history comes a difficult reckoning with the harm we’ve caused along the way. Pastor Zach calls us to look at our history through the lens of the parable of the sower, examining the soil of our faith and how we can ensure our roots grow deep in the love, justice, and mercy of God. Are we willing to do the hard work to make sure our faith takes root in good soil and bears fruit that changes the world?
Join us as we reflect on our past, embrace our connection, and lean into the radical love that continues to grow through our Methodist roots.
