Join us this week as I talk with my friend Tom Basey and he is discussing Medicare. Tom worked for 15 years at Motorola in Ft Worth as an Engineer and Project Manager. He then spent 7 years in the Medical Device industry, including 3 years at Abbott Labs.
He specializes in Medicare Supplements, Prescription Drug Plans and Medicare Advantage plans.
He was first a customer of supplemental insurance, purchasing a Cancer Policy that covered him, his wife and his son (until he turns 26).
Later, someone came to his home and enrolled his Mother-in-law in a Medicare Advantage plan. Since he was already in the industry, they approached him about serving the Medicare market as well.
Since 2018, he is an independent Insurance Broker for Health Insurance solutions, appointed with multiple carriers.
