In this week's episode, Alma and I talk about the "caregiver daughter" perspective in caring for family members. In 2012, Alma’s mom began her journey with dementia requiring 24/7 care in her home. It has been a long, loving journey for Alma’s family … teaching them to stick together during tough times. Alma and her five siblings dedicated themselves to caring for their mom (physically and financially). And, while the journey wasn’t easy, they were honored to provide her with the love, comfort, peace and dignity she deserved. Alma lost her mom on July 28, 2019.
