This week my good friend Jacqueline Ensley of Healing Hands Comfort Care and I talk about keeping the human touch in healthcare. Jacqueline Ensley has a commission and passion to love all people, particularly our aging population. Her desire and purpose is to provide care and give voice to this community when their body and mind is declining due to acute and chronic diseases. Jacqueline's aspirations are to help educate caregivers and families when attempting to encourage independence before and after transitioning a loved one to a Long Term Care (LTC) Facility. Jacqueline has a strong belief that preserving ones' dignity and quality of life is imperative whether they are home or in a LTC environment. A credentialed Board Certified Nurse's Aide in the state of Texas. She received certification from the Alzheimer's Association Essential Advance Dementia Care training and Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) from the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioner. In addition Certificates of Completion for Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Units I, II, & III from Baylor, Scott & White Office of Ministry as Intern Chaplain. Jacqueline is the owner of Comforting Healing Hands.
A student longing to become more like Christ.
