In today's episode, I discuss my struggle with catastrophic thinking. I share how, over the past month, I've come to recognize my tendency to play out the narrative of my life with an unhappy ending.

My conversation today is about the "what ifs" and complex thoughts that can leave us feeling small and powerless. I'll discuss how chronic pain can lead to a spiral of negative thinking. But I'm learning that this mindset can be redirected.

I'll share insights into how mindfulness and meditation can guide us back to a healthier thought pattern. It is hard to catch ourselves in the moment and imagine the best possible outcome, rather than the worst, but with practice its possible. We can recognize the distorted thoughts for what they are and gently steering ourselves toward a more realistic perspective.
