Description

In this last episode of the four part series, Rachel explains that at the point of starting recovery, both in sobriety and for her stroke, she recognized that the first four levels of Maslow's heirarchy of needs weren't being met (physical, safety, love, and esteem.) This is where depression is born and in many cases is the difference between life and death as the patient must recognize that something has to change or nothing is going to change. If the seed of willingness is planted, the patient will bloom into action. With unfaltering willingness, the patient will reach their greatest potential in recovery.
