Rachel has challenged pride and vulnerability to build the Recovery Daily Podcast. She aims to align her identity that the world sees with the bent and broken identity that she hid from everyone. Why? She expresses, "My friends are dying from the same fatal disease of alcoholism and addiction that lives inside of me." She continues that its not worth it to stay quiet anymore.
Pride stands in the way of growth, change, and true relationships. In this episode, Rachel shares that with awareness and intentional action, we can channel our energy to create a ripple effect of positive change.

A special thank you to Debra Meyerson and Steve Zuckerman from Stroke Onward for your inspiring presentation today at MGH Institute of Health Professions, as you helped me realize another quality of my identity that has always been an anchor and hasn't changed for me either - determination. My sincere gratitude for that!
