Reframing shifts my self-talk from “Poor me” to “What action do I need to take?”. I’m slowly erasing the illusion that I ever had control of anything past my fingertips. By renaming challenges as just a thing instead of threat to my happiness, I trade panic for possibility. Small tweaks in my approach, like swapping dread for diligence, seeking actionable next steps, and recalling past wins rewire my brain toward solution-seeking and a positive perspective. Over time, this mindset transforms insecurity into steady resilience, proving that each obstacle can be a stepping-stone if we’re willing to flip the script and keep climbing.

This month I'm participating in a fundraiser for vestibular disorders awareness because I know what it’s like to live with something you can’t fully explain and no one can see. Visit my fundraising page: https://s2b.funraise.org/fundraiser/rachel-abbassi
