Chocolate Mug Cake for One

**Ingredients:**

- 3 tablespoons milk (any kind)

- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

**Instructions:**

1. **Mix Dry Ingredients**: In a microwave-safe mug, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Mix well to ensure there are no lumps.

2. **Add Wet Ingredients**: Add the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the mug. Stir until smooth and all ingredients are well combined.

3. **Add Chocolate Chips**: If using, sprinkle the chocolate chips on top of the batter and gently stir them in.

4. **Microwave**: Place the mug in the microwave and cook on high for 1 minute and 30 seconds to 2 minutes, depending on your microwave's power. The cake should rise and be set but still moist.

5. **Cool and Enjoy**: Let the mug cake cool for a minute or two before enjoying. You can top it with whipped cream, a scoop of ice cream, or a drizzle of chocolate syrup if desired.
