Dr. Brittany Tausen is a social-cognitive psychologist. Dr. Tausen's research focuses on the causes and consequences of dehumanization. Additionally, her research probes factors that cultivate socially conscious communities and foster the mental health and well-being of marginalized group members. Dr. Tausen lives in Seattle, WA with her partner Kris, two tiny humans Odyn (4) and Aksel (1), and one (not so tiny) rottweiler, Reeses. As a family, they enjoy hiking, playing at the beach, and trying new foods.
