Description

Some time ago, two SPU colleagues and I collaborated on a Christian Scholar Review's blog series titled "When the Professional Becomes Personal: Opportunities and Challenges for Faculty of Color Teaching DEI Courses" (https://christianscholars.com/these-are-my-students-a-reflection-on-three-different-student-profiles-in-my-dei-course/). We each reflected on the rewards and pains of teaching about diversity in our classrooms, especially as faculty teaching in Christian higher education.

This first interview is with Dr. Jordan Shannon, Assistant Professor of Counselor Education at Seattle Pacific University (Dr. Shannon is now teaching at Seattle University). Read his blog piece here: https://christianscholars.com/guest-post-a-volcanic-tightrope/
