Growing up, I thought journaling just meant chronicling things that happened to me. I have learned that while this is an important part of journaling, it is just a drop in the bucket of what journaling truly is and how journaling can help you.
So what is journaling then? Simply put, journaling is moving thoughts and emotions from inside your body onto a sheet of paper, app, or document. But the more important question is, how do you do it? I've spent many hours journaling and have greatly benefited from a variety of techniques. Let's talk about it.
