Have you ever been paralyzed by the inability to ask an important question? Or maybe you thought you knew the answer and you ended up making a poor decision. Asking questions is a powerful tool for forward progression – yet we’re not always great at this skill.
In this episode, I talk about three basic types of asking: query, invite, and request, and why people often avoid asking due to fear, assumptions, or the belief they can figure things out on their own. Addressing these obstacles can unlock numerous benefits, such as gaining the help we need, understanding our community, building confidence, and measuring compatibility in relationships. Furthermore, I address the importance of asking ourselves questions to gather information, dream, and set goals. By embracing the power of asking, we set in motion our next steps, gain control of conversations, and acquire knowledge and wisdom, ultimately leading to a more fulfilling and empowered life.
