Notre Dame football is back! After an extended break because of a COVID-19 outbreak on the roster, the Irish will be facing Florida State on Saturday, and as they make their return to the gridiron the Basement Breakdown crew makes our return to our Zoom chat to bring you all the content you've been dying for.
First, Ellen Geyer gives a brief recap of Notre Dame's shutout win over South Florida on Sept. 19 (1:00). Then we have a quasi-group therapy session on how we felt upon Notre Dame's announcement they would postpone the Wake Forest game — sports editor Hayden Adams was feeling particularly angsty (3:46). After that we turn our attention to Florida State with Charlotte Edmonds and Aidan Thomas highlighting what the Seminoles have to offer on both sides of the ball (7:35).
