In 1943, four boys were poaching in Hagley Wood when one decided to climb up an elm tree that had a hollowed-out trunk. What he'd find inside the tree trunk would kick off the start of an investigation that included theories ranging from a very bad case of the Wrong Place, Wrong Times to a possible black magic execution.
The murder presents an eerie question that is still painted on walls to this day; "WHO PUT BELLA IN THE WITCH ELM"
