1. How can fear of failure hold someone back? How has it held you back?
In the Bible talk we heard two ways that God helps us.
He is gracious when we fail
2. Why do we find it so hard to say sorry to another person, to admit what we have done wrong? What things do we do instead?
3. How does God draw us to him despite the fact that we have sinned? Perhaps you could share a moment when that has happened to you.
He is faithful when we try again
4. How can we build a culture in our church where it's OK to own up to our sin? What do you think are the do's and don'ts?
5. How can we create a culture where we help one another to obey? What will the challenges be?
6. In what areas of life do we find it hard to obey God? What can we do about it?
Just on your own
7. In what areas do you find it hardest to obey God? Write down on your phone or on a bit paper what you will do to change and who you will ask to help you?
8. Spend some time praying together. Perhaps use Nehemiah 9 to give thanks and praise to God. Ask for him to forgive your sins and for help to obey.
