Description

• In the canals of south Mexico City rests an island that features hundreds of dolls hanging from trees, building structures, bushes, and any other place imaginable. These dolls, which are in varying degrees of decay, are said to watch visitors who come to the island. Offerings are brought to appease the dolls, as well as to ask for blessings and miracles.
