Donning the Armor of Yahweh (God)
Have you ever heard the term "Armor of God?" - I hadn't until roughly 3 years ago, so if that is you do NOT feel bad about it!
This weeks episode will take you through each piece of the Armor as well as its function and practical real life application. The Belt of Truth, the Shield of Faith, the Helmet of Salvation, the Sword of the Spirit, Feet prepared with the Gospel of Peace, Breastplate of Righteousness, Power of Prayer, and Boldness. All of these are designed to keep us from falling to the schemes && lies of the Enemy. I hope you trust that with all of your heart!
We would be doing our Father a grave disservice to not understand that He has equipped us to succeed in this fallen world.
OF COURSE He has equipped us to persevere in this environment- He has laid it all out in His instruction for us to study && learn- He has made it quite simple for us to then turn and apply it to our lives as well.
Our prayer this week is that each and every one of you can listen to this weeks episode and walk away feeling confident in your ability to do just that!
May we ALL wake up every single day- donning His armor, teaching others how to do so, and using those tools to turn away from the world desires of our flesh in favor of the spiritual blessing that He has given us.
*This episode mentions the Kajabi community that we used to have- unfortunately, we found that utilizing Kajabi as our platform was confusing to access for listeners. Because of this, we no longer have that community. We will be utilizing the comment section for now- or you can find us both involved in the Rooted in His Word Ministry You can contact the Ministry to join us in small group settings!
If you are looking for a facebook group full of like minded individuals (Amy & Tracee are there too) Head over to Misplaced Pieces and there you can also join in our Wednesday Night zoom bible study meetings!
Here you will find the downloadable templates for SOAP Method and Verse Mapping Method as well as their instructions here and here.
As always- remember faith is a verb
