Our fifth episode brought in Dr. George Cunningham as a guest to talk about his role as Editor-in-Chief for Sport Management Review. We talked about his roles and responsibilities as SMR editor, how he and the journal handle split decisions, review time concerns, and special issues. We also talked about the recent spike in SMR's impact factor (and across many sport management journals)and discussed the choice of sending manuscripts out to journals inside and outside the field of sport management.
