What’s holding you back from becoming the boss of your life?
My name is Jonathan Calixto, a news reporter, fashion lifestyle editor, red carpet host, marketing maven, and content creator. I’m also a son, brother, guncle, cousin, partner, and friend.
Growing up, I accepted every title thrown my way by others, but very rarely did I ever title myself. I lived my life thinking I would always work for someone else but why did I never see myself as a boss? What was missing?
Like many of us, life is not just about one path, and Inspire Your Inner Boss the podcast is all about reflecting on mistakes we’ve made, laughing at ourselves, and more importantly, embracing our journey.
Along the way I will share some personal stories that have made me learn to lead with intention, and how I continue to overcome generational responsibilities - in my case as the first openly Queer Latino in my family. But I’ll also talk with other influential people as they share what has inspired them, and see how they define being a boss.
Because there is a boss in all of us.
