Grunge, Hair Metal, Thrash, Punk, the list goes on and on... new musical sub genres which were inspired by musicians/bands collaborating with each other, playing the same live shows, and learning from each others influences and unique quirks. This in turn, created musical scenes. THRIVING sub genres which took over pop and mainstream radio... but seems to have died. Well maybe? Here's why!
