Description

The James Bond franchise had hit a new height. The overwhelming success of the previous two films meant that another installment was assured, but United Artists' budget issues meant that this new film would have to look significantly different from the grandiose set pieces and over-the-top action sequences of The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker.
