With the script for the 18th James Bond film being rejected by MGM less than a year before the film's scheduled release, the team was stuck working at a rapid speed to complete the production. A new script was being written as filming was occurring, while different scenes were being sent to the composer of the score as they were created so he could complete the music. As all this craziness ensued, the team was attempting to create a film with some of the deepest and most significant themes in the series.
