Food production industry is one of the largest contributor to GHG emissions globally, i.e. around 30% including supply chain, transport etc. With the ever increasing world population, the proportion of people living in cities will grow up till 80%. Moreover, the current pandemic with closed borders has clearly impacted the supply chain of food industry. We are in need of a much resilient system where we can produce, consume and transport the food in a sustainable manner.
