I used to be a victim of overthinking, and it took me years to break free from its grip. But I learned that the problem is rarely the problem - 99% of the time, it's just our thoughts playing tricks on us!
Here are some tips that helped me beat overthinking:
Don't self-reject. Apply for that job, publish that article, and take the leap - even if you think you're not good enough.
Recognize that overthinking won't fix the past or change the future. Focus on what you can control - the present moment.
Ask yourself: Can I change my past or positively influence my future? If not, let go of those thoughts and be at peace with your now.
Nourish your mind with positive thoughts and kill those negative ones!
Remember, your now is all you have. Make peace with your mind and start living!
