Description

Growing up in the Bible Belt, we’re raised on the 10 commandments
and the belief that Thou Shalt Not Kill. On the other hand, we also grow up with the idea of an eye for an eye. So, how do we reconcile the fundamental belief that murder is wrong with the human instinct for retribution? Can there be a scenario so profoundly disturbing, so heart-wrenchingly twisted, that it pushes someone to commit the unthinkable? Today’s case is one that will challenge your perceptions of right and wrong and make you question: If you found out someone had harmed your child, would you take the law into your own hands?
