and the belief that Thou Shalt Not Kill. On the other hand, we also grow up with the idea of an eye for an eye. So, how do we reconcile the fundamental belief that murder is wrong with the human instinct for retribution? Can there be a scenario so profoundly disturbing, so heart-wrenchingly twisted, that it pushes someone to commit the unthinkable?
