- A Seminole County detective is out on bond after he's accused of tipping off suspects connected to an undercover operation. Investigators say the suspects thought they were traveling to meet minors for sex. The sheriff says that detective sent warnings to those suspects to let them know, they were targets and help them get away.
- A man accused of shooting and killing a Daytona Beach police officer is expected in court today.
Othal Wallace is accused of shooting Officer Jason Raynor in June of 2021. Raynor died in the hospital a few weeks later. His trial was originally set to begin in a few days but has since been pushed back to September 5th.
